Choose to straighten your hair smartly

While women love to look on fleek everytime and everywhere they are expected to be; their hair plays a vital role in defining their look. A woman’s hair defines her personality on a broader level as a woman with curly hair looks much bolder than the one with wavy or straight hair. However, the straight hair look is way more manageable, professional, and gives a sleek impression of the woman. According to a survey, around 75% of the woman prefers to have silky smooth straight hair because of the benefits it brings along with it. Apart from heating your hair every day, you can choose to straighten them permanently to save your time. But what should you opt for? There are three broad types of straightening your hair permanently:

Rebonding
Smoothening
Keratin

Now let’s talk about them individually.

Rebonding
Rebonding has been the most popular technique since the beginning of the era of hair straightening fashion. The process breaks down the hair in a natural bond and alters their natural form in a much straightener and smoother version. Although the process makes hair weak and lifeless, it is recommended to consult your hair specialist before sitting for this long process of 4-5 hours. The chemicals used in the process are harsh and may loosen up the elasticity of your hair. The choice of your brand also makes a lot of difference in the whole process. However, it lasts longer than any other technique depending upon the growth of your new hair.

Smoothening
Smoothening is the lighter version of rebonding. It follows the same process as of rebonding but the chemicals used are softer than rebonding. It transforms your hair into a silkier and smoother form without changing the original type of your hair. Smoothening neither makes the hair weak nor does it makes them stronger than before. This is the perfect type to choose if you have unmanageable, frizzy, and dull hair to make them frizz free and shiny. Smoothening also lasts for more than a year, without harming your hair with the harsh chemicals.

Keratin
Keratin is a newly evolved technique to straighten your hair for around six months approximately. It is the most healthier and safest option to straighten your hair without harming them. While rebonding and smoothening opens the cuticles of your hair to alter their type, this process breaks the bond in the hair and fills the gap with ‘keratin’ in your hair resulting in frizz-free natural hair. The keratin protein makes your hair shiny and glossy by filling the damaged areas of your hair.

No matter what option you choose to straighten up your hair, consulting your hair specialist is a must! While getting the straight hair look is easy, maintaining it for longer is tougher. You have to take proper care and nourish your hair regularly with oil and hair masks to keep them healthy.
